What the preview does
It classifies your AI system
You answer the questions of the EU AI Act's risk classification: your role, EU nexus, prohibited practices, Annex III areas and transparency duties. The result names the risk tier and the obligations that apply, with the dates they apply from.
It tests your engineering evidence
PulseCheck builds a Compliance Gate from the result and runs its EU AI Act rule sets on your records: approvals before merge, linked technical documentation, review discussion, open bugs and incident response times.
It shows the verdict and the proof
The gate says GO or NO GO. If you build AI, every failing check opens to the pull requests and tickets behind it and sign-offs such as Expert Review wait for the automated checks. If you only use AI, you get a gate of sign-offs for your duties.
Questions about the preview
Is my data uploaded?
No. Your export is read and analysed in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to PulseCheck until you create a workspace and choose to save the results, and the file itself is never stored.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is a preliminary assessment based on the EU AI Act as published. A licensed lawyer can confirm it through Expert Review.
Which exports can I use?
A Jira CSV export, or the JSON that the GitHub CLI writes with gh pr list. The preview analyses up to 50 records. You can also use the sample data.
What happens after I create a workspace?
Your AI system, its confirmed assessment and an EU AI Act gate are waiting in your new workspace, so you do not repeat anything. Scan results are not carried over: the gate's automated checks read the data you connect, so connect Jira or GitHub to run them.
Which EU AI Act rules does it check?
Eight rule sets from the EU AI Act templates: risk classification, technical documentation, human oversight, data governance, conformity assessment, post-market monitoring, record keeping and general-purpose AI. Which of them apply depends on your answers.
